A church with multiple sites in southern California region was concerned about employee and guest authentication and general network security. Management wanted to deploy bring all employee and guest logins under AAA policies using Microsoft NPS using certificate infrastructure and follow industry best practices.
Kreeyaa’s Solution
Kreeyaa provided gap analysis for the customer wireless network infrastructure and provided AAA solution to meet client requirements and also provide recommendations as per industry and vendor best practices:
- Reviewed Cisco WLC policies, procedures, plans, and related documents
- Upgraded Cisco WLCs and Access Points to the latest stable image
- Configured Microsoft NPS radius server to meet the authentication requirements
- Configured policies for Employee and Guest wireless 802.1x authentication using radius
- Tested and validated with customer and assist in cutovers.
Results
Kreeyaa network security audit documented several areas that placed the organization at risk to both internal and external threats. The implemented solution brought network security under corporate IT standards and compliance, thus increasing security and protecting its information assets.
