Kreeyaa was engaged by a healthcare client to design and implemented a comprehensive data protection program that addressed management and implementation of data loss prevention tool.
As a part of its information security program, the client has implemented multiple point solutions. The client wished to expand its data protection initiative into a more comprehensive and holistic approach that would be effective and would provide better value.
Kreeyaa’s Solution
- Assessed the current maturity of data protection governance, functional areas, practice, controls and tools.
- Defined a data loss protection program structure monitoring key performance indicator metrics
- Developed a detailed roadmap with focus areas and actionable initiatives
- Conducted proof of concept with multiple DLP vendors to identify the best solution.
- Defined the Data Loss prevention architecture
- Implemented the DLP solution covering the 3 potential data loss channels Data at Rest, Data in Motion & Data in Use
- Implemented the DLP rules to detect client sensitive data based on keyword matching, regex pattern and finger printing.
Results
Kreeyaa team helped build capabilities to identify and prevent insecure outbound transmissions of confidential & sensitive client data. Kreeyaa DLP team engaged with client legal team to drive data classification and data categorization activities for PIA, IP, Clinical trial, M&A data and implemented end to end solutions in 30 sites.
